  • Manhunt by James L. Swanson

I consider myself an avid reader of fiction. I remember in my childhood I was never that fond of reading but when i discovered J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter, I was hooked instantly on reading and fiction. I think what I like most about it is that anything can happen in the fictional world, rather than reality.

The book I am currently reading is Manhunt: The 12-day Chase for Lincoln's Killer by James L. Swanson.

I have always been curious of the story of Abraham Lincoln and how he was killed in Ford's Theater. I am also a fan of American history. Whether it was the revolution, civil war, or anything around those time periods I am interested in learning.

I am mostly looking forward to learning the full story of John Wilkes Booth and how he murdered President Abraham Lincoln.

Does this book remind you of any other book you have read in the past? How so?

No it does not mostly because I have never read a non-fiction reading yet. Before this, I was a fan of fiction, like the Harry Potter Series.

Some of the vocabulary James L. Swanson uses in his novel can be challenging at points in the reading.
