City of Thieves – A Quality book.

After reading City of Thieves by David Benioff I would highly recommend the book to anybody interested in fiction. The book gives the reader a sense of time and a vivid depiction of the cold Russian winter. Along with a great plot and setting, the book has lots of humor interwoven in the text. At the start of the personal choice reading I thought the book would be much more tedious then I expected because of it being a fictional book. After finishing City of thieves I realized it was an easy and even pleasurable read. If given a chance I would like to read And Then There Were None. I have heard positive comments made toward this book and I am interested in suspenseful books. The book that is most similar to my personal choice book is Lord of the Flies. The book also tells a story of partnership and survival, similar to Lev and Kolyas’ partnership in City of Thieves. In both books individuals with great differences must work together to survive. If you liked Lord of the Flies please consider reading City of Thieves.
